Mystic sink
One of the consequences of being a new homeowner with a kitchen that could use some sprucing up is that things like faucets and doorknobs start to seem incredibly fascinating. Alas, already some of my dream plans are being constrained by cold, hard reality. But, for the record, I really want this river-inspired sink that has water coursing gently over 4 feet from the faucet to the drain, in my kitchen. Never mind that it's pretty much useless for washing dishes and would take up practically all of the counter space, if it didn't cost almost as much as the closing costs for the house, I'd be hauling it right over. That's gangsta...
ReplyDelete... is that bad or good? ...
ReplyDeleteGreat, now I want one in my ktchen too, it's so sparkly!
ReplyDeleteWe just recently bought a house and had to install the kitchen too, so I know exactly how you feel! However, there is no such thing as "too much counter space"...
ReplyDeleteI know, and we have about 3 feet of counter space as it is. But can you imagine this packed with ice for keeping drinks cold? How cool is that?
ReplyDeleteI keep running out of money before I can get new counters. I sanded & painted the cabinets last year, but the counters remain. I can't decide what material to use. Right now I'd like to do stainless for the counter that has the sink, and maple cutting surface for the other side. But I'm sure that'll change too eh.
ReplyDeletevery hip :)
ReplyDeleteI covet such sink holes!
ReplyDeleteWOW!
Thanks for the nice comments on my design. Unfotunately pricing is all about demand and with a speciality item like this the economies of scale just aren't there. Yet!
